Plattekill Alpine Racing (PAR), an alpine development and ski racing program in Roxbury, N.Y., is seeking weekend alpine race coaches for the 2023-24 season. PAR offers an elite ski racing experience with a strong focus on goal setting and athletic achievement, while instilling confidence and strong values in our athletes (U10 through U16.) 

We are seeking Certified Coaches (USSS 100 or higher) who possess a strong technical background, former racers and strong skiers, effective coaching style and love working with kids. Interested candidates should contact Bill Pammer, Alpine Race Director; [email protected]

Freeride: Part-time Ski and Ride Coaches
 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Working with athletes ages 8 and older on the fundamentals
of skiing as it relates to the terrain park. A background in snowboard/freeski competition and knowledge
of the current state of the sport is a plus. Work schedule will be primarily during the weekend (with some
weekdays and holidays) beginning in December through March. Pay is commensurate with experience
and level of education. Benefits include a season pass at all three Olympic Regional Development
Authority (ORDA) mountains (Belleayre, Gore, Whiteface). Interested candidates should contact NYSEF

Part-time Head Freeski Coach
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Working with athletes ages 15 and older on advanced aspects
of slopestyle and rail jam competition. A background in freeski competition, knowledge of the current
state of the sport and a minimum level 100 certification is required. Work schedule will be primarily during
the weekend (with some weekdays and holidays) beginning in December through March. Pay is
commensurate with experience and level of education. Benefits include a season pass at all three

Alpine: Part-time Coaches
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Working with athletes ages 8 and older on the fundamentals

Part-time Race Crew/Event/Support Staff
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): making sure the event or training environments are set and
ready for athletes and officials, shoveling, resetting gates, shuttling equipment, overall course
maintenance of the racecourse and/or breakdown of the course/venue at the end of the day. Must be
able to ski and carry up to 50 pounds. This is a paid position. Benefits include a season pass at all three

• Seeking 3-5 Competition Crew –3-5 Days/Week, Saturday and Sunday Necessary
